I have been going to island view since I was very young and I’m now 27 and it is still a little gem off the beaten path. I look forward to being able to bring my daughter there to create memories like the ones that I have!!

We will NOT be open for snowmobile season this winter.
Sorry! Turns out having a baby DOES change everything. To open we either need a cook (or two) or a babysitter. We have neither. So, we will just focus on enjoying our little girl while we are lucky enough to have that option. Come summer we ARE able to find help, so we will be back at it like always. We truly appreciate and enjoy our snowmobile customers and hope to get back to it down the road. Wishing you a ton of snow!! See ya in the Spring!

Congratulations, you’ve stumbled upon one of the last honest resorts in the Northwoods.
No fake smiles. (Alex, anyone?) No trying too hard (we wanted a salad bar, you demanded Totino’s, we went with it). No secret resort fees that show up like jump scares at checkout.
We’ve got 9 rustic cabins, a bar, a fleet of mostly seaworthy boats, and a restaurant that serves food fried by Tad. If you’re looking for Starlink, central air, silk sheets and emotional healing, you’re lost. If you’re looking for creaky screen doors, loons that scream at 3AM, and a dog-friendly policy that’s “yes, obviously”, you’re home.
Your kids will get muddy. Your dog will get praised. You might relax, accidentally.

I hesitate to give up this secret, but Erin and Alex are awesome, the bar and cabins are in great shape, and the fishing is spectacular. The boats are well maintained and the service and hospitality is unmatched.
A great place to stay, the cabins are clean and comfortable and are right on the lake shore. The Friday night fish fry is awesome. Erin and Alex are excellent hosts. We will definitely be going back!!
