Cabin 1 isn’t just a place to stay – it’s a full-blown intervention. A slap in the face from Mother Nature herself, imploring – nay, demanding – you put down your phone (because it won’t work anyway) and touch some grass. Isn’t that why you wanted to come Up North in the first place?

Inside the Cabin (and nearby):

Two Bedrooms, each with one full size bed

Full Kitchen: stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker with filters, all dishes and cookware, dish soap, etc.
Bathroom: Yes we have indoor plumbing. We’re not monsters.
Box fans just like Grandma used to use when she walked up hill both ways (Just kidding! You only have to walk uphill when you leave).
Propane heater
Screened-In Porch: You will spend your time out here.
Private pier, with electricity!
Charcoal Grill: Because those brats aren’t going to cook themselves.
Fire pit & free firewood
100% Pet Friendly and NO PET FEES!
ATV friendly and you can ride right from here because no one wants to back up that trailer more than necessary.

A stay in Cabin 1, or any cabin here at Island View, is a trip back in time – we dare say to a better time. When you didn’t have to fight to find a $20 parking spot or pay an hour’s wage for a nonsensically named coffee. There is no DoorDash, but you’re not completely on your own – we have a bar slash restaurant right here, fully stocked with some stuff. You can even get it To Go if you must!

You will be too hot, too cold, covered in mosquito bites, sun burned, and the happiest you’ve been in a long time. This place has a way of forcing you to slow down and get off the internet. You may remember things you’ve long since forgotten, like the utterly cool experience of sitting on a porch watching hummingbirds or having a campfire or talking to your own children. You’ll go home with a sense of pride no hotel will ever give you. You survived. And you loved it!
